Take private property tows off the phone lines

Aries Private Property Impound (PPI) by Autura replaces phone calls with real-time digital reporting. Tow operators submit notifications from the field, residents look up towed vehicles online, and agencies receive automated compliance checks and stolen vehicle cross-referencing in one place, cutting dispatch call volume while providing full oversight.

How Aries PPI Works

The call becomes a quick form-fill.
The rest takes care of itself.

Four steps. No phone line involved, from the tow operator's notification to the resident finding their own car.

Watch it move through — the notification advances on its own, no phone line.
0101

Tow provider submits a digital form.

When a vehicle is towed from private property, the operator files the notification through a simple form, from a phone or a desk. No call to your agency.

0202

Your agency is notified in real-time.

The notification lands in Aries Impound, complete and structured, ready for records or dispatch to act on. No transcription.

0303

Staff run the check and clear the tow.

With clean data in hand, staff move through standard procedure fast: clear the vehicle for tow, or flag it for investigation or hold.

0404

Residents find their own vehicle.

A self-serve Public Portal lookup connects the vehicle owner with the tow company and pickup details, so they stop calling your agency.

Complete Aries Suite

PPI clears private property tows. The full suite streamlines every tow.

The Aries suite connects each towing stage so a vehicle's record follows it from the roadside to the impound lot —
and your team isn't re-keying the same data into disconnected systems.

Runs Exclusively On

AWS GovCloud (US)

Government-grade infrastructure, built for how agencies buy.

Aries runs exclusively on AWS GovCloud (US), the cloud infrastructure built to meet the compliance requirements of U.S. government agencies. Because so many infrastructure-level security validations are already handled through AWS authorizations, agencies can move through procurement faster and carry less of the compliance burden themselves. Aries Private Property Impound (PPI) is also available through AWS Marketplace, which can further simplify purchasing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions. Quick answers.

Do we have to buy the whole Aries suite to use PPI?

No. Aries PPI is sold as a stand-alone product and solves the private property tow notification problem by itself. It also connects to Aries Dispatch and Aries Impound if you want to run your whole towing program on one system. You can start with just PPI and add the rest whenever you're ready.

How do tow providers submit notifications?

Tow providers submit notifications through a digital form they complete from a phone or a desk. No calling or faxing your agency. The notification arrives in Aries — complete and structured, so your staff isn't transcribing anything.

What is the Public Portal?

The Public Portal is a self-serve lookup where a resident can locate their towed vehicle and get the tow company's contact and pickup details. It's meant to take the "did you tow my car" calls off your lines.

We don't get many private property tows. Is this worth it?

It's usually more volume than agencies think, because the cost is buried in phone time rather than tracked anywhere. Every repo and trespass tow that comes in as a 5 to 7 minute call adds up across a year. Most agencies don't see the total until they add it up, which is something we can walk through with your actual numbers on a demo.

Does this replace our stolen-vehicle check?

No. It feeds it. Staff still run the check through your standard operating procedure, but they're working from clean, complete data instead of what someone read off over the phone. From there they clear the vehicle for tow or flag it for investigation or hold.
